Born in Warsaw, Poland, and now based in Toronto, Canada, Maja Hajduk’s photographs are known for their intimate & whimsical nature.

After studying Fine Art and Photography at the University of Toronto and the Ontario College of Art & Design, Maja went on to shoot commercial & editorial photo work for beauty and fashion clients. Her portfolio of work and on-set charisma has led to collaborations with clients such as L’Oreal Professionel, and features in numerous nationwide publications including Fashion, Flare, Elle, Glow, Toronto Life, and Salon Magazine.

In 2009, her photos were identified as making a mark amongst women in fashion photography at the Women x Women Exhibit hosted as part of LG Fashion Week.

Most recently, Maja received an Advertising and Design Club of Canada Award for her editorial work with Fashion Magazine .

Over the past year she has also been actively involved in the development of Sterling Studio, a one-of-a-kind full service production hub for stills & motion pictures.

She spends her free time planning her next great travel adventure, scouring farmer’s markets for heirloom tomatoes and fancy flours, or camping in the great outdoors with her two dogs.
